Our products offer a complete solution for remote construction site monitoring, measuring vibration, noise, dust, and geotechnical impacts on nearby communities. This type of monitoring is often required, but also helps companies manage risks and work more efficiently.
Sigicom HQ is located in Stockholm, Sweden.
Sigicom Group subsidiaries are located in countries where we have large market share and where we continue to scale our business: France, UK, Canada, USA, Denmark, Netherlands and Sweden.
For our subsidiary in Gothenburg, we are now looking for a General Manager who will play an important part in the development and success of our west coast office and Nordic business operations.
The Role:
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing most aspects of the company’s operations, ensuring the stability, success and growth of the company.
This role requires a dynamic and thoughtful leader who understands how to enable a self-sufficient team to continue to thrive long term.
Key areas of responsibilities:
- Act as an important link between HQ in Stockholm and our office in Gothenburg, in ensuring a highly motivated team and success in daily operations, based on Sigicom Group’s strong growth plan overall.
- Oversee day-to-day operations: understand business’ needs and liaise with stakeholders in ensuring smooth operations of the company.
- Align with corporate strategy in setting goals for continued growth.
- Evaluate financial performance, manage the budget, and control local expenditure.
- Implement, where needed, appropriate processes and structure based on guidelines by Sigicom Group HQ.
- Oversee staffing needs and take part in recruitment activities and processes when needed.
- Prepare and present reports of company performance for Sigicom Group management team.
- Lead all functions related to the subsidiary: Development, Aftersales, Purchasing etc.
- Direct reports of the Development team in employee follow-up, performance assessments, yearly goals and salary reviews.
The Profile:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering field, business management or similar.
- Previous experience of roles such as General Manager, or similar.
- Strong technical skills and mindset.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate the team and team members, and support them in their daily work and job responsibilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong command of both Swedish and English.
For this position, we are looking for a person who lives in or around Gothenburg.
The role requires frequent visits to Sigicom HQ.
