The Role
As our PLM Application Engineer, you are part of the Development team of around 25 engineers. The team consists of expertise within SW, HW, FW, mechanical, automation and test.
The PLM team is a group within Development, and this is the team you will belong to. The team comprises of in-depth experience and expertise of Sigicom products and solutions for maintenance of the products throughout the life cycle, i.e. production, service and calibration, invoicing etc. We are now looking to add competencies to this group, primarily regarding .Net/C# PC applications.
Key areas of responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using .Net/C# in Visual Studio.
- Design, develop, and maintain databases for the PLM system.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing applications for scalability and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement in our development processes.
- Support and maintain processes and routines regarding production and calibration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, software and hardware teams etc.).
The Profile:
- Strong experience in development of .Net/C#/WinForms PC applications.
- Solid understanding of SQL/Postgres databases.
- A collaborative mindset, pragmatic and solution oriented.
- Strong command in both Swedish and English.
- Setting up and troubleshooting Windows PCs.
- Calibration specifications.
